Speaking at Budget Committee can feel intimidating—that’s why we’re offering a workshop to help you get prepared.
The City's Budget Committee will be hosting public consultations that will directly inform the final budget. This is your opportunity to share your story directly to the Budget Committee and tell them what you want to see in the budget. (Check out the budget deputation training here)
On Sunday, January 18 at 12pm we will be hosting an online Speaking at Budget Committee workshop. After learning the structure of a good deputation, you will have time to write, practice, and get feedback with other speakers.

This is a free event. This online training will be hosted on Zoom and the link will be provided to those who register.
