Mayoral Election Training Series:
Organizing Beyond the Core — City Wide Day of Action
See other Mayoral Election training sessions offered by Progress Toronto here
The mayoral by-election is coming up fast on June 26 and it’s our opportunity to mobilize thousands of people to help elect a strong progressive candidate.
The 2022 municipal election had a record low voter turnout and the turnout was especially low in neighbourhoods beyond the downtown core where many racialized, working class, and new Canadians live. It is important that we connect with people all across our city.
Join Progress Toronto, volunteers, and leaders like Councillor Amber Morley in Etobicoke–Lakeshore, Chiara Padovani in York South–Weston, and Kevin Rupasinghe in Scarborough Southwest on Saturday, April 15 for a Day of Action to knock on doors and speak with residents. You’ll have a chance to ask about what they want to see in their city and what they want a new mayor to prioritize.
