How to Get Out the Vote for a Candidate
The 2022 municipal election had a record low voter turnout. That’s why it's important to get people out to vote for progressives across the city this election. A campaign’s ability to get their supporters to vote can be the difference between winning and losing.
On Tuesday, October 6 at 6pm, Broadbent Institute Training Coordinator Galya Bravo will be leading How to Get Out the Vote for a Candidate. Sign up to learn strategies for getting out the vote, how to motivate people to vote, and what to expect when you volunteer for a campaign.
Advance voting on October 6 to October 11 provides us a good opportunity to practice getting out the vote. Participants are encouraged to put their skills to use by signing up to volunteer directly for progressive candidates for advance voting. We will host an advance voting debrief for training participants on Tuesday, October 13 at 6pm to hear about your experiences and prepare for election day on October 26.
