How to Knock on Doors for a Candidate: West End
Door knocking (also known as canvassing) is a crucial part of a winning strategy for progressive campaigns. Face-to-face conversations are a powerful way to reach people and move them to vote for your candidate.
Knocking on doors is how campaigns meet people where they are at. It can seem intimidating, but Progress Toronto will make sure you feel comfortable talking to people at their doors to help progressive candidates win.
On Saturday, September 19 at 12PM, join our in-person How to Knock on Doors workshop with community organizers Emily Johnson and Caroline Haddad in the west end.
During the first part of our workshop, you will learn the basics of door knocking. Then, volunteers will go out and knock on doors to put those canvassing skills to good use. This training will be in the west end. Exact meeting location will be sent closer to the event.
