Kofi Hope
Kofi Hope is a change maker. He is Rhodes Scholar and has a Doctorate in Politics from Oxford University. Currently, he is Senior Policy Advisor at the Wellesley Institute, a strategic consultant to the Vice President HR/Equity at the University of Toronto and the Bousfield visiting scholar at UofT’s School of Urban Planning. In 2017 he was the winner of the Jane Jacobs Prize and in 2018 he was named as A Rising Star by Toronto Life in their Power List. He is the founder and former Executive Director of the CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals. In 2005 he founded the Black Youth Coalition Against Violence, which became a leading voice for advocating for real solutions to gun violence in Toronto and led to him being named one of the Top 10 People to Watch in Toronto in 2006 by the Toronto Star.
