Spring Training Series:
How to Knock on Doors
See the other Spring training sessions here
Face-to-face conversations are the best way to reach people and move them to action on an issue. Knocking on doors (also known as canvassing) can seem intimidating, but it is a crucial and empowering way to connect with people.
Have you wanted to knock on doors for an important issue but were uncertain about what to say or nervous to talk to strangers? We totally understand and we got you covered. Join us to learn how to talk to people at the doors, help them take action, and discover how canvassing can help win on issues.
On Saturday, May 11 at 12PM, Progress Toronto will lead our How to Knock on Doors training with Organizers Donovan Hayden and Monica de Vera. We will begin the training with a canvassing 101, then you will get a chance to practice knocking on doors yourself with our experienced team of volunteers in support of better funding for Education.
This training is in person. We will be meeting just north of Eglinton Station (Yonge St & Eglinton Ave) at St. Clements - Yonge Parkette.
