Spring Training Series:
City Council Watch Party
Toronto City Council will meet for its May council meeting and will likely vote on a by-law that could restrict our freedom to protest and picket, and other important issues that impact us. It’s important to let elected officials know that the public is present and watching, and you will learn more about the City Council process.
Join Progress Toronto at City Hall or on Zoom on May 21. While we watch City Council live together, Progress Toronto will explain what is happening during the meeting. We will be providing helpful info throughout the day, and can answer questions about process, timing, motions, and more!
City Council Watch Party
Wednesday, May 21
9:30am ET continuing throughout the day

Note that the motion may be debated on Thursday, May 22 and we will let you know if anything changes.
When you register you can indicate if you want to join in person or online. The online Watch Party will be hosted on Zoom and the link will be provided before the event.
