See other Winter training sessions offered here
Progress Toronto is excited to partner with the Urban Alliance on Race Relations to offer this free, online workshop. The City Budget will be voted on at City Council on February 14. Join us at this training to learn how to move people to action on the budget. We will be phoning people to encourage them to put pressure on their local councillors and the Mayor to vote for a better City Budget.
At Progress Toronto we know if enough of us take action, the Mayor and City Council can be moved to vote to build a better city.
Join Progress Toronto Organizers Donovan Hayden and Francis Tersigni on Monday, January 30 to learn about the best practices for urging people to take action, holding elected officials accountable, and building people-power!
On Monday, January 30 at 6pm learn how to phone bank from home using our online tool and best practices on helping people take action for a better city.
The first half of this workshop will be a training where you will become familiar with our online phone bank tool and how to move people to action. The second half of the workshop you will get a chance to put your new skills to practice and phone bank people across our city to take action. We will debrief after you make some calls!
For this online training you will need access to a computer and, if possible, headphones to make the calls.
